Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Musical Theatre & Contemporary Classes

Our Classical classes follow the RAD & ATOD syllabi plus open work. Careful development of technique and artistry are nurtured along with musical awareness and performance quality. As Glenbrook Ballet Theatre is a classically focussed school, students must also participate in ballet classes to be eligible for Jazz, Tap, Musical Theatre  Lyrical &/or Contemporary classes.
Pre-Junior School

Pre-Junior classes are an energetic and engaging introduction to more formal training. Classes encourage poise, balance, coordination, imagination and technique. 

​

From Primary there is a minimum commitment of two classical syllabus classes per week to be eligible for an Exam.

  • Pre-Jnr Jazz/Lyrical

  • Pre-Jnr Tap

  • Private Lessons

Minimum Age
Pre-Primary; 5yrs,
Primary; 6yrs

Junior School

Junior school classes are the commencement of more focused classical ballet/dance training.

​

These levels involve a minimum commitment of two classical syllabus classes per week.

Available Classes Include:

  • Junior 1 Ballet

  • Junior Jazz 

  • Junior Tap

  • Junior Lyrical

  • Stretch Class

  • Private Lessons

  • Cygnets Program - Level 1

Minimum Age​

Middle School  
​

Middle school classes further develop performance quality and artistry along with more complex technique and musical awareness. 

​

These levels involve a minimum commitment of two classical syllabus classes per week.

Available Classes Include:

  • Junior 2 Ballet 

  • Middle 1 Ballet

  • Mid Jazz 

  • Mid Tap

  • Mid Lyrical/Contemporary

  • Musical Theatre

  • Stretch Class

  • Private Lessons

  • Cygnets Program - Level 1/2

Minimum Age

Junior 2: 8yrs
Middle 1; 9yrs, 
 

Senior School

Senior school classes are the culmination of many years of study. Classes focus on technical accuracy & brilliance along with an accomplished sense of artistry & musicality.

These levels involve a minimum commitment of two

classical classes per week.

Our programs cater to all ages and skill levels, from beginners to advanced dancers, including Adults & Silver Swans.
