Why Choose Us?

There are many reasons why Glenbrook Ballet Theatre is the Lower Mountains
Premier Ballet School.

Here are just a few of them...

Are the teachers qualified professionals?

Yes!... All our classes are taught by the experienced and qualified principal or faculty. Unqualified student teachers are not solely responsible for any of our classes. This ensures that all our students are receiving the best possible tuition at all times.

Will my child receive personal attention?

Yes!... At Glenbrook Ballet Theatre, we firmly believe in quality before quantity. We are unique, in that classes at GBT are generally limited to a maximum of 15 students. We do also have a unique junior teacher training program which means many of our younger classes also have a senior student assisting to allow for even more personal attention on each student.

This combination of small class sizes and staff to student ratios enables all students to receive personal attention and ensures the talents of each student are carefully nurtured.

Can you cater for my child’s dance goals?

Yes!... At Glenbrook Ballet Theatre, we cater for all students goals. We offer a specially designed pre-school curriculum through to a tailored extension program, through to our unique GBT Academy bespoke full-time training program for students who show particular aptitude or desire for a career in dance. We also run a highly successful Saturday recreational stream for students who wish to learn more for fun, friendship and fitness.

Are tuition and costume costs reasonable?

Yes!... We offer competitive tuition fees with no hidden extras. Costumes for concerts and group performances are hired or purchased directly from the school for a minimal fee. This means parents are not required to sew or sequin any costumes and don’t end up paying for expensive costumes they don’t want or need. Students in Tiny Toes, Beginners, Prelude, Pre-Primary and LaunchPad classes purchase their costumes through the studio for a minimal cost and are then able to keep them as a special memento of their first concert/s.

Is the training safe and appropriate?

Yes!... All classes and activities undertaken at Glenbrook Ballet Theatre adhere to the Royal Academy of Dance “Code of Conduct and Professional Practice” and the Ausdance “Australian Guidelines for Teachers”. Safe dance practice is at the forefront of our training, as is a comprehensive, structured program to ensure the careful development of correct technique at a level which is both developmentally and age appropriate at all times. A trained first aid officer is also present on site.
